 The art of collage allows me to go further in conveying truth; something that is real.

Most of the work here are what I call museum pieces. They deal with our history; with the way people lived and their experience. These paintings educate.

Much research is done and the truth is delivered clearly.

The first African American Red Cross Nurse was MRS. FRANCES REID ELLIOT DAVIS, RN in 1918.

Her uniform is constructed of letters written by soldiers, and the many telegrams families received.

Frederick Douglas Is Coming To Dinner shows a well-to-do African American family standing with their backs to the window. Outside that window is the explosion of the Civil Rights Movement and the people who stood up for change.
