LET THE MUSIC ROLL

Scroll

This body of work was inspired shortly after I visited Scott Joplin’s house in St. Louis; the composer of Ragtime. Player Piano Rolls were the thing back in the late 1800’s. The paper feels like vellum and the smoothness alters the effects of the paint. The process is unique and the result captivating.
